Chinese Language Program

Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) in Shanghai is a leading public institution with a nearly seventy-year tradition in dramatic arts education. The Chinese Language Program at Shanghai Theatre Academy is a non-degree program for international students to learn Chinese. It lasts one semester and is taught in Chinese.

The program covers reading, speaking, listening, and writing skills. Students can choose from six level courses, from beginner to advanced. They will also have the opportunity to take optional classes like Taiqi, Chinese pronunciation, and Calligraphy.

After completing the program, students can pursue careers like Chinese Teacher, Translator, or Cultural Ambassador. They can work in industries such as education, government, or international business. Potential employers include language schools, translation agencies, or cultural institutions.
