Choral Conducting

The Certificate Programme in Choral Conducting is tailored for amateur choral directors and graduates from choral conducting training at Upper Austrian state music schools. This part-time program spans four to six semesters, providing a solid foundation in conducting techniques and choral literature.

Students will engage in subjects such as Piano for Choir Conductors, Conducting, Aural Training, and Voice. The curriculum includes practical experiences through internships and visits to various choirs, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to lead diverse choral groups.

Upon completion, graduates can pursue roles such as choir director, music educator, or choral conductor. They will be equipped to work in community choirs, educational institutions, and cultural organizations, applying their skills in various musical settings.
