Christliche Theologien in ökumenischer Perspektive

Starting with the Studium Generale component, which complements your main subjects, the programme at the University of Siegen provides a balanced interdenominational lens through which to explore essential elements of Christian theologies and their influence on European culture. It examines both Roman Catholic and Protestant perspectives, offering students a unique opportunity to critically reflect on and engage in constructive dialogue about these traditions. The curriculum includes an exploration of denominational differences and similarities, as well as their confessional influences and social impacts. This approach is particularly valuable for students who will encounter denominational and religious diversity in their future careers, as it equips them with the skills to navigate these differences thoughtfully and appropriately. The programme also allows for flexibility, enabling students to shape their studies according to their individual interests and combine theology with a wide range of other disciplines, including studies in politics, business, development work, public administration, and social work.
