About Bachelor in Civil Engineering and Construction Management

The Bachelor's degree programme in Civil Engineering at Biberach University of Applied Sciences, delivered at the Vietnamese-German University campus in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is a six-semester, application-oriented programme. It trains students across classical fields of civil engineering and allows subject-specific profile formation through a chosen major area in the advanced semesters. The programme is structured in three stages. The first stage, covering semesters one and two, delivers standardised foundational engineering modules for all students. The second stage, in semesters three and four, covers core civil engineering modules uniformly across the cohort. The third stage, in semesters five and six, provides specialisation modules along with mandatory and elective modules in either Structural Engineering or Infrastructure Planning. Teaching is practice-oriented, with a large share of courses delivered as exercises and project studies. The programme is offered with intakes in both winter and summer semester, and is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
