This program is for recent graduates and career changers interested in the built environment. Students study highway, municipal and building design, geotechniques, soil mechanics, and building code. They develop skills in materials testing, surveying, and using software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Graduates work on capstone projects and technical reports that reflect their acquired skills.

Focus areas include highway design, municipal and building design, surveying, soils and materials testing.

6 Semesters (3 Years), Full-time, Co-op Option Available.

Graduates enter roles such as civil engineering technologist, survey technologist, or project co-ordinator.

Prior education: Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum grade of C (60%) in Strength of Materials course. English proficiency required: IELTS 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5 or equivalent.
