Students alternate between on-campus teaching and hospital-based placements, completing up to 480 hours of clinical work each year. Placements span gastro-intestinal, neurophysiology, vascular, respiratory and cardiology areas, with support from practice educators, weekly online lectures and a Moodle resource hub. The distinctive feature is that this is the first programme in Ireland to train across all five clinical measurement disciplines, created in partnership with the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science.
