Bachelor in Commerce (BComm)

A mandatory co-op component weaves three paid work terms into the four-year Bachelor of Commerce, giving you up to twelve months of professional experience before graduation. The co-op structure also lets you earn a salary while you build a professional network. The programme offers seven majors—including Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, International Business, Managing People and Organisations, Marketing, and Supply Chain and Logistics Management—so you can tailor your studies to your career interests.

The degree is intended for students who have completed secondary school with a minimum overall average of 75 % and who have taken Grade 12 English and Mathematics. Throughout the year you attend lectures and seminars that cover foundational topics such as marketing, accounting, finance and organisational behaviour, while the co-op periods place you in real-world settings such as banks, consulting firms or non-profits. You also develop technical abilities with spreadsheet software, databases and statistical tools used for financial modelling and market research.
