The University of Information Technology and Management offers this Bachelor's program in Computer Science in Poland, taught in English over six semesters, roughly three years, with yearly tuition of EUR 3000. The program is run by the university's Applied Computer Science faculty, which educates ICT specialists, computer system designers, and administrators at undergraduate level with a practice-oriented approach, operating under the patronage of the Cisco Networking Academy Program. Students study fundamental topics including Discrete Mathematics, Algorithms and Programming, Operating Systems and Computer Networks, Data Bases and Software Engineering, Architecture of Computer and Embedded Systems, Computer Graphics and Human-Computer Interaction, and Artificial Intelligence. Students choose between three fields of study: Network Technologies, Programming, or Computer Graphics. Graduates of the computer network track learn to use modern information and communication technologies and tools for managing global networks, including in business contexts, while graduates of the software engineering track become familiar with modern techniques and tools for software development and maintenance. The program is designed to improve graduates' prospects in the IT job market given ongoing demand for software engineers and computer network specialists. Authorized training tracks, including CCNA, CCNA Security, and CCNP, are built into the Computer Networks program, and Microsoft and Oracle training features in the software engineering track. Computer science at the bachelor's level gives students a foundation across programming, systems, networks, and databases that supports a range of entry-level technical careers, including software developer, network technician, systems administrator, and graphics or multimedia specialist, with room to specialize further through later study or professional certification.
