Informatica - Computer Science

Computer Science is a two-year master's degree program taught in English at the Università degli Studi di Camerino, located in Camerino, Italy. The program covers advanced topics in computing, typically including software engineering, algorithms, artificial intelligence, database systems, computer networks, and cybersecurity, building on foundational computer science knowledge from undergraduate study. Students develop both theoretical understanding of computing principles and practical software development skills applicable across a wide range of industries. Computer science remains one of the most broadly applicable technical fields, with graduates pursuing careers as software developers, systems analysts, data engineers, cybersecurity specialists, or researchers, among other roles across sectors including technology, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing. The continued expansion of digital systems and data-driven applications across industries has sustained demand for professionals trained in software development, systems design, and computational problem-solving. The Università degli Studi di Camerino is a public university located in the town of Camerino, in the Marche region of central Italy, offering this master's program entirely in English to make it accessible to an international student body. Studying in a smaller Italian town offers a different environment from programs based in larger cities, with a university that has a long academic history in the region. Admission to the program is open access, meaning no entrance examination is required, though applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification, since the two-year program builds directly on undergraduate computer science or related technical training.
