Control, Electronics, and Information Engineering, known as CEIE, is a bachelor's programme taught in English at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland. The programme runs for seven semesters, with yearly tuition of 1200 EUR. The curriculum matches the standards of technical universities across Europe, which allows students to take part in exchange programmes and spend a semester or two abroad, including through the Erasmus exchange scheme, while also welcoming foreign students into its own courses. After completing five semesters, students choose a specialization from the three main fields named in the programme title, with further coursework built around that choice. Graduates emerge as engineers prepared to handle technical challenges in automatic control, IT, electronics, and telecommunications, backed by both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. They typically work as designers or operators of control systems, software or hardware developers, database specialists, or measurement specialists, among other roles across industrial, telecommunications, and technology sectors.
