Cosmetic Science

This program is the only one-year laboratory-based graduate certificate in cosmetic science in Ontario. Students combine scientific knowledge with art and business to develop personal care products. The curriculum focuses on formulation, regulatory compliance, and product development using industry equipment. Hands-on lab work prepares students for careers in the cosmetics industry.

2 semesters (8 months), full-time, in-person, Ontario College Graduate Certificate.

Graduates can work as research and development chemists, cosmetic formulation chemists, regulatory affairs associates, quality assurance associates, technical sales associates, or product development coordinators.

International applicants must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. English language proficiency is required, with IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 90. Required documents include official transcripts and proof of English proficiency.

In-person, full-time, 8 months.
