The Cursus Scripte trains script supervisors ('scriptes'), described on the school's own pages as the 'memory of the film' — the crew member responsible for continuity across a shoot filmed out of narrative order. It is a three-year programme run by directors Donatienne De Gorostarzu and Sophie Audier, admitting four students every two years via its own concours (held on the same schedule and format as the concours général, with a different jury).

The programme covers the script supervisor's role from prep through to the shoot, on both short film and TV fiction; mastery of the shooting script; continuity and coverage across single- and multi-camera setups; a live and recorded TV script-supervision module; an introduction to editing and to visual effects/post-production; and an introduction to iPad-based tools now used on set. Scripte students play a hands-on role in the prep, shoot and edit of films made by La Fémis's Réalisation students across all years, including the second- and third-year exercises, final diploma films, and La Résidence's films.

The programme also includes professional exchanges, work placements (including with laboratories, post-production houses, and as an assistant scripte on a feature or TV film), international exchanges with INSAS (Belgium) and ECAL (Switzerland), and ongoing English and drawing instruction.
