Bachelor in Cyber Security and Business

Cyber Security and Business is a six-semester bachelor's programme at HTW Berlin that combines IT security with business and legal knowledge. Students learn to protect organisations from digital threats by developing skills across computer science fundamentals, IT security, data systems, business administration, and law, including data protection standards and compliance requirements. The language of instruction is English. The programme offers three specialisations in the later semesters: Forensics, covering forensics in operating systems, analysis methods, forensic psychology, and digital investigation; Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR), covering infrastructure protection, security operations, and change management; and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), covering blockchain fundamentals, blockchain security, and business development. A compulsory specialised internship takes place in the fifth semester. HTW Berlin does not charge tuition fees, only a semester fee. Entry is in the winter semester, and the programme is based at HTW Berlin University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, Germany.
