Graduates or professionals with a background in psychology, computer science, information technology or a related discipline who want to understand how people think, feel and behave in digital environments will find this programme suitable. It builds on prior knowledge of human behaviour or technical systems and develops the ability to analyse ethical, social and design issues that arise as technology becomes ever more embedded in everyday life.

Each week you attend lectures and practical labs that explore topics such as cyber ethics, human-computer interaction, artificial intelligence responsibility and user-experience design. Collaborative workshops let you apply design methods to real-world software problems, while modules on social cyber-psychology and behaviour across the cyber lifespan examine the psychological processes behind online identities, communities and e-learning. The programme culminates in a research dissertation, giving you the chance to investigate a specialist area of cyberpsychology under academic supervision.
