Inżynieria danych

Data Engineering is a bachelor's programme taught in English at Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce in Kielce, Poland. The degree runs for three and a half years, or seven semesters, with yearly tuition of 20000 PLN. The programme gives students the opportunity to build knowledge and abilities in one of the most dynamically developing technological areas: the analysis of large datasets, covering Big Data and Data Mining, along with the related fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Recent advances in these areas have driven a real breakthrough in artificial intelligence, which brings new goals and challenges for education in computer science and computer engineering. In a competitive environment, the programme is designed to help students engage promptly, actively, and effectively with these new methods and technologies from the educational side. Data engineering as a field focuses on the systems and processes used to collect, store, clean, and prepare data so it can be analyzed and used to train machine learning models. Students in programmes of this kind typically study database design, data pipelines, programming for data processing, and the fundamentals of machine learning and artificial intelligence, building a technical foundation that supports work with large and complex datasets. Graduates of data engineering programmes typically pursue careers as data engineers, database specialists, or roles supporting AI and machine learning teams within technology companies, research institutions, and organizations across sectors that rely on large-scale data infrastructure.
