This three-year bachelor's programme is unique for its focus on textile design and the material exploration of geometrical structures. One distinctive feature is the Weg der Sinne project, where students develop textile works that stimulate the senses, enhancing their practical skills and creative thinking. Students also learn research methods to drive their design process. The programme integrates theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience in the various workshops available to students. Students will explore a variety of textile techniques, such as weaving, dyeing, and digital printing, to create innovative and functional designs. The curriculum includes modules on design theory, textile technology, and business fundamentals, providing a well-rounded education. Additionally, students have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, such as designing textiles for industry partners, which prepares them for professional work in the textile and design sector. A design award is also offered to students to showcase their work.
