Dental hygienists provide preventive, educational, and therapeutic dental care to clients of all ages. Students learn oral health promotion, clinical practice, and ethical dental hygiene services. The program includes classroom instruction, lab work, and supervised clinical experiences. Graduates are prepared for licensure and careers in dental practices and public health settings.

Three-year advanced diploma program with clinical experiences and hands-on training in a campus dental clinic. Co-op or practicum is part of the curriculum. Full-time on-campus study.

Graduates work as dental hygienists in private practices, community clinics, health institutions, and government agencies.

Grade 12 with minimum 70% in English Language Arts 30, Biology 30, Chemistry 30, and one of Foundations of Mathematics 30 or Pre-Calculus 30. International applicants must meet English language requirements. Applicants must submit a portfolio and meet selection criteria.
