Master in Département Production

The Production département is one of the seven specializations of La Fémis's four-year cursus principal. It is run by directors Pascal Caucheteux and Christophe Rossignon and admits six students per intake through the concours général.

The programme aims to train producers as both entrepreneurs and creative collaborators, built around active participation in the films made across the cursus. Teaching draws on a deliberately wide pool of working industry professionals to expose students to different ways of producing in France and internationally, rather than teaching a single model.

Professional insertion is emphasised throughout, including participation in two festivals, an exchange with Japan, and placements in the second and third years. The département also builds shared teaching moments with other départements, particularly Distribution/Exploitation and the Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris exchange.
