Designing Effective Science Communication

Designing Effective Science Communication is a non-degree program for scientists, educators, and communicators. It lasts several weeks and helps participants communicate science to the public and other scientists more effectively.

The curriculum covers human learning principles, effective communication methods, and various media like oral presentations, writing, technology, and art. Participants learn to identify key principles, describe common pitfalls in science outreach, and apply best practices to science communication.
