Master in Digital Entrepreneurship

The MA in Digital Entrepreneurship, offered in Słubice through Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, is a two-year master's program taught in English. It is intended mainly for graduates of first-cycle and long-cycle master's degree programs in fields such as political studies, sociology, law, administration, economics, cultural studies, philosophy, IT, and information technology, along with related degree courses. The program, known as the Master of Digital Entrepreneurship (MoDE), is a transdisciplinary, international double-degree program jointly offered by the European University Viadrina in Germany and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. It brings together Viadrina's focus on entrepreneurship and social analysis with Adam Mickiewicz University's work in science and technology studies. Students build knowledge and skills intended to support their own projects, starting from the challenges and opportunities of the digital society and developing entrepreneurial responses to questions of digital transformation across Europe. Digital entrepreneurship as a field of study sits between business, technology, and social science. It covers how new ventures form and grow around digital products and platforms, how organizations adapt to digital transformation, and how entrepreneurs assess opportunities in fast-changing technology markets. Graduates typically pursue careers as startup founders, digital strategists, innovation consultants, or policy specialists working on the social and economic effects of digital technology.
