Master in Digital Professional Accounting

The MSc in Digital Professional Accounting is delivered over a single year on a blended basis, dividing the curriculum into two semesters. Core modules such as Business Analytics for Accountants, Strategic Business Leader and Strategic Business Reporting occupy the first semester, while the second semester offers a range of electives – Advanced Taxation, Advanced Audit and Assurance, Advanced Financial Management, Advanced Performance Management and Sustainability in a Digital World – allowing students to tailor their learning.

Graduates leave with the competencies required to sit the ACCA Strategic Professional examinations and are able to enter senior positions in audit firms, corporate finance departments, consulting practices or public-sector organisations. Typical roles include audit manager, financial controller, digital accounting specialist, or sustainability reporting analyst, and many continue onto doctoral research in accounting or related disciplines.

Each week combines lectures, interactive workshops and hands-on labs where students manipulate real-world data sets, develop statistical models, prepare corporate reports and evaluate tax scenarios. The professional skills component requires the preparation of case-study reports that simulate the delivery of digital solutions to complex accounting problems, reinforcing both technical and communication abilities.
