Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering

The Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering covers aircraft design, mechanics and maintenance, taught through SP's Aero Hub facility with accreditation recognised by industry bodies in the aerospace sector. Students study aerodynamics, materials science and aircraft electrical systems alongside industry-standard software. Across three years the course runs from Introduction to Engineering through Aircraft Maintenance Practices and Aircraft Power Plants, with electives such as Data & Artificial Intelligence, and includes project work and an internship. Graduates work as aircraft maintenance technicians or engineers, or continue into engineering degrees at local or overseas universities; SP's planned intake for 2026 is 140 places.
