Diploma in Applied AI & Analytics

The Diploma in Applied AI & Analytics builds skills in machine learning, data analytics and artificial intelligence, with students exploring Generative AI, graph analytics and big data technology alongside application development. Graduates complete a Minor from options such as 5G & AIoT, Business Management or Sustainability alongside the core diploma. The three-year course opens with programming, mathematics and data fluency foundations, moves through data engineering, data structures, deep learning and generative AI with large language models, and closes with a capstone Applied AI and Analytics project and an internship. Graduates move into data analyst, AI engineer or software development roles, or progress to computing degrees with advanced standing; SP's planned intake for 2026 is 80 places.
