Diploma in Architecture

The Diploma in Architecture develops students' creativity, critical thinking and technical skills for architectural practice. Teaching centres on hands-on design studio work using tools such as Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital modelling, with sustainability built into the studio briefs so students design for modern environmental and urban challenges. Across the three years the course moves from design fundamentals and technological studies through design representation and into studio projects covering residential and commercial architecture, closing with a 22-week internship in an architectural or related practice. Graduates can enter roles in architecture, urban planning and sustainable design, or progress to a related degree with advanced standing; SP's planned intake for the course in 2026 is 100 places.
