Diploma in Interior Design

The Diploma in Interior Design trains students to turn interiors into functional, meaningful spaces through sustainable design principles and human-centric approaches. Studio work builds skills as sustainable practitioners, empathic designers and data-literate technologists, with students graduating with a Minor from a suite of related elective modules. The three-year course opens with design fundamentals, technical studies and design representation, moves through Design Studio I and II with domain-specific modules and technical studies research, and includes a 22-week internship. Graduates move into interior design and space-planning roles, or progress to related design degrees at local or overseas universities; SP's planned intake for 2026 is 55 places.
