Diploma in Mechatronics & Robotics

The Diploma in Mechatronics & Robotics combines mechanical and electrical engineering with programming, giving students a broad foundation in designing, coding and troubleshooting robotic and automated systems. The hybrid curriculum is built to open a wide range of university progression routes alongside industry roles. The three-year course covers digital electronics, mechanics, engineering materials and computer programming in the early years, then moves into industrial automation, systems and control, robotic integration and programming, and mobile robot application, closing with an internship. Graduates move into robotics, automation or mechatronics engineering roles, or progress to engineering degrees; SP's planned intake for 2026 is 67 places.
