Students in the Master of Divinity programme complete a year-long Field Education placement in churches, hospitals, nonprofits, and other ministry settings across urban, suburban, and rural areas. They engage in weekly hybrid classes that combine in-person sessions with synchronous online meetings. The programme integrates theological study with practical ministry experience and includes two required courses in spiritual formation during the first year. Students also complete a cross-cultural experience during January or Summer Terms.

Focus areas include Forming New Faith Communities, Urban Ministry, Worship Leadership, Adaptive and Innovative Ministry, Faith, Work, and the Common Good, Missional Leadership.

The programme requires 81 credit hours, including 27 courses, with a year-long Field Education course and a cross-cultural experience. Students take hybrid courses in Scripture, theology, history, and ministry, and complete two semesters of field education in the second year.

Graduates serve in ordained pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, church planting, nonprofit management, and denominational leadership roles.

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA. Required documents include transcripts, a personal statement, and letters of recommendation. Biblical language study is required for PCUSA candidates.

The programme totals about 81 credit hours. Hybrid format with synchronous weekly online classes and in-person meetings twice per semester; offered full-time or part-time; typically completed in 3 to 6 years. For international students, tuition is well below the median for US programmes.
