Doctoral Programme in Languages and Translation Studies

This four-year doctoral programme at the University of Turku trains language specialists to work at the intersections of multilingualism, intercultural communication, and language research. The programme's focus goes beyond language as a practical tool, developing candidates' capacity to analyse languages and interaction in depth and to situate that analysis within broader social and cultural contexts.
