Doctorat Arts Plastiques

The Doctorat Arts Plastiques is a 6-year doctoral programme based in the lab 'Art et design contemporain' at Université Jean Monnet (UJM).

The programme is distinctively interdisciplinary, drawing on the expertise of researchers in the faculty of art and design, and the School of Social Sciences, and open to students from diverse academic fields.

It joins practice-based research in visual arts (fine arts, photography, video), design, and digital media, with theoretical research in contemporary art, design, and media, as well as humanities and social sciences.

Course Structure

The programme includes collaborative workshops, seminars, and presentations, and students will be encouraged to publish their research or present it at conferences.
