Doctorate 2008

Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS) awarded 10 doctoral degrees in 2008, ranging in topics from language studies to historical analysis. The Japanese and Polish language contrastive analysis of interpersonal shifters, led by Professor 富盛 伸夫, was one of the works submitted for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

The Doctorate programme at TUFS engages students in rigorous research, mentored by faculty experts. Students like Kazimarek Miroslawa, who researched Japanese-Polish language contrastive analysis, and Gan Ba Ga Na, who studied Inner Mongolian autonomous movements and Japanese diplomacy, explored diverse topics under the guidance of committees including experts from TUFS and other prominent universities such as the National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics.
