Bachelor in Double licence - Cinéma / Gestion -

Tuition fees for Bachelor in Double licence - Cinéma / Gestion - are 178 EUR per year.

This double Licence combines cinema studies with management (Gestion), pairing two distinct fields into a single undergraduate track. Cinema studies, or études cinématographiques, examines film as an art form and cultural product, covering film history, film theory and analysis, production and technical aspects of filmmaking, and the study of major directors, movements, and genres. Management, or gestion, covers the fundamentals of running organizations: accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and organizational strategy. A double degree in these two fields is intended to give students both the critical and cultural grounding of cinema studies and the practical, applied skill set of a management education, a combination relevant to the business side of the film and media industries as well as management roles more broadly. Students in this kind of program typically take core courses in both disciplines in parallel, including film analysis and history alongside accounting, marketing, and organizational management, building a dual academic foundation rather than specializing narrowly in one field. Graduates from a cinema-management double degree pursue careers in film and media production management, distribution, marketing for cultural or entertainment companies, arts and cultural administration, or general management roles in companies where a grounding in both cultural analysis and business is valuable. Many continue to master's-level study in either cinema, media management, or business administration to specialize further. This double Licence is offered by Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, in Paris, France. It is a bachelor's-level degree lasting three years, with instruction delivered in French. The program begins in September, and yearly tuition is 178 EUR, consistent with tuition rates at French public universities.
