Drug Discovery and Development Master is renowned for its comprehensive expertise in the research and development of pharmaceuticals, covering the entire value chain from identifying target structures to clinical trials. It is open to international students, with teaching in both German and English.

The curriculum integrates multiple disciplines, including analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, galenics, management, and molecular and clinical pharmacology, all interconnected to ensure students gain a deep understanding of the interactions between chemical substances and living matter. With the support of the CIP (Cologne International Pharmacy) Centre, the program provides students with the opportunity to work on projects that address real-world challenges in pharmaceutical research.
