Economics studies how individuals, firms, and governments allocate scarce resources, covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and economic policy alongside supporting coursework in mathematics and statistics. Students learn to analyze markets, pricing, trade, monetary and fiscal policy, and economic growth, using quantitative tools to interpret data and evaluate the effects of policy decisions on households, businesses, and national economies. This bachelor's program is delivered at Turkish-German University in İstanbul, Turkey, over 4 years of full-time study, with courses taught in German. The curriculum combines theoretical economics with applied coursework in statistics and data analysis, and the German-language instruction links the program to economic research and institutions in German-speaking countries, supporting students interested in further study or professional work in those contexts.
