Students study how resources are produced, conserved, and allocated when resources are scarce. They also study economic theory, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and comparative economic systems.

They learn money and banking systems, international economics, and quantitative analytical methods. The field applies to specific industries and public policy issues.

For international students, tuition is well above the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 35% of applicants.
