Master in Economy

Warsaw University of Life Sciences, known as SGGW, offers a master's program in Economy, taught in English over four semesters, with yearly tuition of 2200.0 EUR. The aim of this two-year program is to give students broad academic knowledge and to help them build skills that prepare them for careers in a dynamic global business environment. Graduates are described as ready for corporate careers, positions in government, and starting and running their own businesses. In the first year, students take courses including Mathematical Statistics, Forecasting Business Processes, Advanced Macroeconomics, Business Law, Financial and Capital Markets, Managerial Economics, Economics and Organization of Production, Local Finances, Managerial Accounting, International Economy, History of Economic Thought, Mathematical Economy, Insurance Systems, Human Resource Management, Methods of Projects' Assessment, Corporate Finance, and a Master Seminar. In the second year, students choose from specialization courses such as Economic Policy of the EU, Theory of Decision Making, Small and Medium Enterprises in the EU, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, Principles of Financial Accounting, and Electronic Commerce. Graduates are expected to be able to analyze business and economic problems and devise new strategies and solutions.
