This Master of Education program equips students with knowledge and skills to work with survivors of chronic stress and trauma, focusing on neuroscience and trauma-responsive practices. It begins with brain physiology and cognition, progressing to the effects of trauma and culminating in practical care. The program is distinctive as the only fully online Neuroscience and Trauma program nationally and integrates personal development through self-reflective assignments.

The program requires 31 credit hours and features 7-week courses, allowing students to complete a traditional master's thesis or an alternative capstone project.

Graduates are equipped to serve in roles such as teachers, social workers, police officers, ministers, foster parents, adoptive parents, and therapists working with trauma survivors.

Applicants need a bachelor's degree with a 2.7 cumulative GPA (or 3.0 in the last 60 hours), three professional reference letters, a goal statement, and a resume. International students must submit a TOEFL score of at least 560.

The programme totals about 31 credit hours. The program is delivered fully online with both asynchronous and synchronous courses, requiring a two-day on-campus orientation, and can be completed in one or two years, designed for working professionals. For international students, tuition is well below the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 65% of applicants.
