In the Electrical Engineering for Sustainable and Renewable Energy programme at Coburg, you will undertake a 20-week industry placement, typically in a German company, to apply your knowledge, expand your network, and gain valuable industrial experience. This bachelor's programme awards a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) and prepares you for careers in energy companies, research institutions, or public authorities, with the option to further specialise through a master's degree. You will develop solid expertise in electrical engineering with a focus on renewable energies, storage, and distribution technologies, as well as interdisciplinary economic and business perspectives. The 8-semester programme includes a mandatory 20-week industry placement and a Bachelor's thesis. The first semester is offered exclusively online, allowing you to settle in Germany and prepare for on-campus study from the second semester onwards.
