Master in Electronic Engineering

Tuition fees for Master in Electronic Engineering are 5,742,000 KRW per year.

Electronic Engineering covers the design, analysis, and application of circuits and electronic systems that underlie modern technology, from consumer devices to industrial equipment. A master's program in this field typically includes coursework in circuit theory, semiconductor devices, signal processing, and communications systems, alongside laboratory work that lets students build and test their own designs. Students often specialize in areas such as analog or digital circuit design, power electronics, embedded systems, or radio-frequency communications, developing both the theoretical grounding and hands-on skills needed to work with hardware at a professional level. Coursework may also touch on microcontroller programming and the integration of hardware with software, reflecting how contemporary electronic products increasingly combine both. Graduates pursue careers as electronics engineers, hardware design engineers, semiconductor engineers, or communications systems engineers across industries including consumer electronics, telecommunications, automotive systems, and industrial automation. Some continue into research roles focused on next-generation chip design or wireless technology, while others move into technical management within engineering teams. This program is offered by Hanbat National University in Yuseong-gu, South Korea, and is taught in English, allowing students to study electronic engineering at the graduate level without needing to already know Korean. The degree takes two years to complete, with new students able to start in either March or September. Combining circuit-level fundamentals with applied project work, the program is structured to prepare graduates for both industry roles and further academic research in electronics.
