Master in Engineering Cybernetics MSc

Stuttgart, Germany Taught in English Open to international students

About the Program

The MSc in Engineering Cybernetics is the English-language counterpart of the established German-language programme Technische Kybernetik, which has been running since 1972. The programme builds broad, methodologically grounded knowledge across four core areas: control, robotics, system dynamics, and modelling and simulation. A strong emphasis on applied mathematics runs through all areas of study. Graduates develop the ability to abstract complex problems from traditional and modern engineering domains — including aerospace, mechanical, biomedical, and energy systems — and to address control analysis and design problems using systems theory, dynamical systems modelling, and computational methods. The programme runs over four semesters, beginning in the winter semester. The degree is offered at the University of Stuttgart in Stuttgart, Germany.
