The Master of Science in Engineering Management program combines professional engineering knowledge with education in topics necessary to effectively manage in the contemporary technology-driven business environment. Enrollment is limited to graduates of ABET-accredited engineering programs or Kettering University graduates with majors in an engineering discipline. On campus students may select a management internship course as part of the core program.

Focus areas include Global Leadership Certificate, Operations Management Certificate, Supply Chain & ERP Certificate, Technology Leadership Certificate, Lean Principles for Healthcare Certificate, Data Analytics Certificate.

The curriculum involves 10 courses totaling 40 credit hours, comprising seven core courses for 28 credits and three certificate courses for 12 credits.

Enrollment is limited to graduates of ABET-accredited engineering programs or Kettering University graduates with majors in an engineering discipline. Students must have an undergraduate course in economics, managerial accounting, statistics, management, and marketing, or complete MGMT-510 Foundations of Business, or test out of individual prerequisite courses.

The programme totals about 40 credit hours. For international students, tuition is well below the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 79% of applicants.

Kettering University’s campus is located at 1700 University Ave. in Flint, southeast Michigan. Kettering’s co-op experience gives students 2.5 years of paid professional experience in their chosen fields, supported by more than 550 co-op partners across the United States. Students also take part in research and innovation: Kettering students have filed or held 102 patent applications over the past 14 years.
