Tuition fees are 67,320 TRY per year.

English Language Teaching prepares students to teach English as a foreign or second language, combining study of English language, linguistics, and literature with pedagogy, curriculum design, and classroom teaching methods. Typical coursework includes grammar and language skills development, applied linguistics, second language acquisition theory, materials development, and teaching practice, often including supervised classroom experience. Students develop both their own English proficiency and the pedagogical skills needed to plan lessons, assess learners, and manage classrooms for students at different levels. This bachelor's program in English Language Teaching is offered at Girne University in Girne, Northern Cyprus, delivered in English over a 4-year course of study. The program combines academic study of the English language with practical training in teaching methodology, building toward classroom-ready skills by the later years of the degree. Based in Girne, the university offers an international setting where students studying English and education can engage with a multilingual campus community. Graduates of English language teaching programs typically go on to teach in primary, secondary, or language schools, both domestically and internationally, and some pursue further study in applied linguistics, education, or teaching English to speakers of other languages. The degree also provides a foundation for roles in curriculum development, educational publishing, and language program administration. Because English language instruction is in demand across many countries, the qualification offers graduates a broad range of geographic and institutional options for employment.
