Bachelor in Floral Design

For Bachelor in Floral Design, the tuition fee is 17,500 CAD per year.

Mastering the art of floral design demands a sophisticated grasp of color theory, material science, form, and spatial dynamics. Flowers and foliage serve as complex mediums, and successful designers must understand how to manipulate these natural elements to create arrangements that resonate both aesthetically and commercially. This eight-month Ontario College Certificate program provides a rigorous framework for developing these skills, blending creative exploration with the essential business acumen required to succeed in the floral industry.

Students engage in a curriculum that balances theoretical knowledge with intensive, hands-on practice. By working within a professional floral lab, you will learn to bridge the gap between creative vision and technical execution. The program is specifically designed for those who wish to transform a passion for botany and design into a professional practice, ensuring that every arrangement created meets the high standards of both the artist and the client.

Integrated Field Experience

Beyond the classroom, the program emphasizes real-world readiness. You will undertake approximately 200 hours of field placement, providing critical on-the-job experience in relevant industry settings. This experiential component allows you to apply your design skills in professional environments, including retail florists, garden centres, and interior landscape firms, ensuring you graduate with the practical confidence required for immediate entry into the workforce.
