About Master in Filière Conception Mécanique Intégrée Cmi

The Filière Conception Mécanique Intégrée (CMI) is a master's program that trains engineers to coordinate the design and prototyping of complex systems, integrating various components (actuators, sensors, machine elements, etc.) and their control systems. Students gain proficiency in establishing specifications, proposing and analyzing solutions that consider both technical and economic constraints, as well as environmental factors such as recyclability. Students also learn to perform preliminary dimensioning of these solutions based on the expected mechanical behavior. The curriculum emphasizes the management of projects and the organization of design teams, and students become skilled in selecting and implementing design software (CAO), analysis (IAO), manufacturing (FAO), and product lifecycle management (PLM).

Students in the CMI track can expect to work with powerful industry-standard software such as AmeSim, Catia, Créo, MATLAB, MSC, and Adams, as well as access to testing facilities like a tribology measurement bench, and fabrication and prototyping tools.
