Bachelor in Finance and accounting

Finance and Accounting, offered through the Financial Analyst specialty at the University of Gdansk, is a bachelor's degree program taught in English over three years, with yearly tuition set at PLN 5,000. The curriculum combines general university subjects with specific financial subjects focused on the investment process. Students build knowledge, skills, and social competence across modules covering Economics, Quantitative Methods, Corporate Finance and Reporting, Financial Markets and Instruments, Law and Ethics, and Social Sciences, complemented by electives chosen according to individual interest. The curriculum covers all topics included in CFA Program Level 1. The program is closely linked to the needs of business practice, with the goal of producing graduates sought after by employers connected to the financial market, both in Poland and abroad. Undergraduate study within the Financial Analyst path leads to a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting along with the knowledge needed for the first level of the CFA exam, opening opportunities for a career in finance. Lecturers include university professors as well as practitioners with recognized standing in the financial market. Students have the opportunity to take part in exchange under the Erasmus+ program, to join student scientific clubs, and to complete internships in banks and other financial institutions. Graduates can continue their education at the master's level, building on the foundation established during these three years of undergraduate study in Gdańsk.
