Bachelor in Flugausbildung

One aspect of the Aircraft and Flight Engineering B.Sc. programme that students can pursue is the Flugausbildung; the first module, a theory course needed to earn a private pilot's license (PPL(A)) including radio communications training, is compulsory for admission.

The Hochschule Osnabrück partners with several flight schools, such as the Technische Fachschule für Flugzeugführer GmbH, to deliver this hands-on programme. Students can choose to complete further training such as the instrument flight rating (IR(A)), night qualification (NFQ) or even a commercial pilot license (CPL(A)) depending on their interests. This flight training is typically conducted during semester breaks and can be completed alongside the bachelor's degree.
