Students conduct fieldwork and laboratory projects in forest ecosystems. They perform forest inventories, collect data on wildlife and vegetation, and analyze soil and habitat conditions. They use geographic information systems to map forest areas and support sustainable management practices. They work on real-world projects involving reforestation, forest operations, and environmental protection.

5 steps, 60 credits, includes 1-week practical training camps and a 7-week internship; on-campus only.

Graduates work as forest technologists in government agencies, forestry companies, urban forest management teams, or environmental consulting firms.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent; one credit in French (FIF3U, FIF3C, FIF4U, FRA3U, FRA4C, FRA4U or equivalent); international students must provide English language proficiency if not already obtained before classes start.

On-campus, full-time, 5 steps (approximately 2 years).
