Game Technologies (MSc) at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg is a four-semester Master's programme covering the technical and scientific foundations of computer game development. Core subject areas include computer graphics, user interaction, user experience, computer vision, scientific visualisation, extended reality (virtual and augmented reality), deep learning and AI, serious games, software and hardware prototyping, rendering and game engine optimisation, and motion capture and character animation. The programme structure includes core courses in the first and second semesters, a continuous project spanning three semesters in which student teams design, implement, and evaluate game technologies, and a mobility window in the third semester during which study abroad is encouraged. The fourth semester is reserved for the Master's thesis and defence. Elective courses complement the core and project work throughout. The programme is suitable for part-time study.
