Gender and Diversity is a Bachelor's programme at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences that examines gender dynamics and social diversity through an interdisciplinary lens. Teaching draws on sociology, cultural studies, political science, and psychology combined with foundational economics. Students engage with theoretical frameworks, empirical research methods, and applied workshops and exercises. The programme runs over seven semesters and begins in the winter semester. The first three semesters introduce social science and economics foundations. The fourth and fifth semesters deepen knowledge and allow students to choose elective subjects aligned with their intended career direction. The sixth semester is devoted to an internship or a semester abroad. The final semester is reserved for the Bachelor's thesis, which is typically developed in cooperation with an organisation or business. The programme is taught in English at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kleve, Germany.
