Master in Geographie

Geographie students at the University of Bamberg sit in the same seminars as Bachelor students, with a 9-semester programme focused on physical, human, and historical geography. Students gain hands-on experience in GIS and archival analysis. The programme includes a 24-month referendariat and prepares students for the first and second state examinations.

This programme has a strong focus on educational science and practical training, with assignments such as the pädagogisch-didaktisches Praktikum and schulpraktikum in the 3rd and 5th semesters.
