Geriatric Medicine

The Geriatric Medicine program is designed for physicians who wish to enhance their skills in caring for elderly patients. This one-year program is particularly suited for general practitioners, emergency doctors, and those working in polyvalent medicine. It provides essential training for those aiming to become coordinators in nursing homes or territorial geriatric systems.

Students will engage in a hybrid learning format, combining online education with practical sessions. The curriculum includes 70 hours of theoretical e-learning and 37 hours of hands-on training. Participants will learn to assess the physical, psychological, and social situations of elderly patients, enabling them to provide tailored medical care.

Graduates of this program can pursue roles such as Geriatric Coordinator in nursing homes or work within territorial geriatric systems.
